2024-25 Versus Screens

I used Unreal Engine 5 to create these 3D versus screens displayed on the jumbotron at Calgary Flames games. Each NHL logo was built and prepped in Cinema 4D, then brought into UE5 where I added textures, lights, and animation. After Effects was used for text, editing, and final tweaks. Cryptomattes were used to break the render into different layers.
Also featured in this video are custom theme night templates and generic 3D loops showcasing the Flames logo and their alternate Blasty mark.
My favourite logo to create was the Anaheim Ducks, featuring their refreshed mask with the orange eye. Which logo is your favourite?
A big thank you to Geordie Macleod, Austin Shaw, Riley Jans, Luca Cioffi, Ed Robertson, Matthew Hipple, Carlo Petrini, and Peter Stewart for their support, direction, and guidance.
