Calgary Flames 2022-23 Headshots

The 2022-23 Calgary Flames headshots were inspired from my love of hockey cards. I wanted to give the card a sense of depth but at the same time remain looking thin like a traditional hockey card. Over the summer I spent a lot of hours tinkering around with concepts and trying to get the effect right. Below you can see an early concept that showcases the depth effect I explain above.
