Wild Side of The Dome

Jack Links’ Wildside of the Dome is a promotion that runs during the third period at Flames games. It consists of me running around with their mascot, a Sasquatch, and causing all sorts of mayhem. Normally I meet with the mascot an hour before the game and we film about 30 minutes of footage. I then take it and edit it during the game adding in other clips that happen throughout the night captured by our Broadcast & Production team.

I designed the graphics to go hand in hand with the craziness that is Jack Links’ brand. They wanted it wild and I made it wild. Growing up with VHS tapes, I figured it would be fun to have the promo start up with a tape being inserted into a VCR.

Another note is that I film this promo with the oldest, crappiest camera we have at the Dome. That way if the camera is damaged it does not really matter.
