Red Monday Playoff Open

This year’s Stanley Cup Playoff opening video was edited by Mitch Nybo and myself. Mitch focused on the video highlight portion and I created the 3D graphics and helped with the storyboard. My idea was to create a ring of fire around the Stanley Cup with the intention of it looking like the flames are guarding it. I used Cinema 4D to create the 3D graphics and X-Particles to bring the fire simulation to life. The project was started and completed within three weeks.

This loop (featured above) was created to work as a screensaver at the Scotiabank Saddledome during the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs. I created the set and logos in 3D and used X-Particles to create the fire simulation.
